My guest today is our esteemed Department Chair for our Ph.D. in Integrative Social Work, Dr. Trent Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen was a previous guest back when the social work program was in its infancy. Today, we're going to dig in just a bit more about the importance of social work today, the role of the social worker in the continuum of integrative mental health care, and the benefits of a Ph.D. in Social Work. We're also going to explore the importance of social justice in a program like this and why it matters.
