Description: Dr. Selene Kumin Vega takes us into the heart to find soothing for the pain, suffering, distress, confusion; whatever discomfort we may find in ourselves as we continue to reflect and grow as human beings, and find our way towards alignment with our deepest values. When we provide a sanctuary of self-kindness in the heart, we can find joy, beauty, and love within and in the world around us, and connect with the forces beyond the individual self.

As a service to our larger community, Saybrook University is offering a daily mindful moment through July, beginning at 12:13 PM Eastern/9:13 AM Pacific. Designed to be 15 minutes in length, our Mind-Body Medicine faculty have banded together to provide these sessions as a source of centering and solace in these extraordinary times.
